1. CARING.
So let’s get into these what I call the five keys to successfully communicate in your marriage with your spouse.
The first key is “Caring.” Now, here’s a straightforward principle. You can’t communicate with a person who doesn’t care. Genuine, sincere communication comes from a caring heart.

It’s body language. Your body language tells your spouse; it shows others if you care or not. Your countenance, the way you look at them and the attention you give them when they’re communicating. If you’re rolling your eyes, if you’re turning your head away, that’s not good. However, if you’re looking at them and you’re making a good response, and you’re listening to what they’re saying, you’re feeding back, saying, “yeah, I understand.
Yeah, I hear that.” That tells a person that you care. That’s number 1. You have to care, and you have to communicate care to communicate.
